Year of the Tiger will be celebrated during the week-long festivity organized by the Phoenix Chinese Week Committee in cooperation with the City of Phoenix Sister Cities Taipei Committee


Phoenix Chinese Week Committee to celebrate the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Tiger at the Culture and Cuisine Festival featuring a variety of cultural and educational events held at the Chinese Cultural Center, 668 N. 44th Street on February 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., February 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and February 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Authentic oriental cuisines, live entertainments, and complimentary arts and crafts from the favorite Children’s Pavilion will highlight the Festival, which is free and open to the public. The Phoenix Chinese Week invites everyone to attend the festivities and celebration.



Students and children of all ages will have hands on experience with complimentary activities and new projects at the popular Children’s Pavilion that features Chinese calligraphy, paper folding, paper cutting, and arts and crafts. There are also diverse booths, such as the Chinese Culture Village to experience Chinese inventions and learn intriguing Chinese history; the Photo Exhibit; the Mah-Jong booth; and the various vendors to purchase unique souvenirs.

Exhibits also include Koi Fish display, Dragon Boat Display; martial arts, cultural dances, music and more.
