Arizona Asian-American Bar Association honors two accomplished women

The Arizona Asian-American Bar Association starts the new year with a special reception honoring its members Lezzie Kim and Alysson Abe. Kim flew back from Washington D.C. to join her friends in Tempe, Arizona where the reception is held. About 50 lawyers and guests attend the event to help celebrate their appointments.

Lezzie Kim has been appointed to the Deputy General Counsel of the Homeland Security for the Obama Administration. She was General Counsel for former Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano.



Alysson Abe (Right) receives plague from the Asian-American Bar Association VP Bryce Suzuki

Alysson Abe has been appointed to the Superior Court Commissioner of the Maricopa County. She was with the Maricopa County for the past fifteen years serving as Deputy Public Defender and Deputy County Attorney.
